In “Organizational Norms” the claim is made that the responsibility of individuals ought to be extended. Introduction

Taking into consideration the possibility of working for a large manufacturing company, it could be realized that somehow, the huge decisions come into a distinct realization based on the assumptions and knowledge application of the ones positioned in the upper offices. Relatively, the condition of development that is defined in the concept of organizational management among majorly large companies depends on the manner by which the upper officers notice the issues and give solutions accordingly (Marcoux, 2009). Notably, these particular decisions often affect the overall reputation of the organization. However, when it comes to determining the value of the said decisions to the overall reputation of the organization, all of the members of the organization get into the condition of being subjected to public scrutiny and discrimination.

Discussion

For instance, the upper management decides how to handle the operation in a way by which the business would be able to determine good sources of profit apart from being able to provide what is needed by their employees and other stakeholder s well. This is the reason when it comes to determining the production line operations, the higher officers are in the position o determining the design of work that the employees are to follow (Serenko, et al, 2009). There are instances however that these decisions turn into particular issues that affect the overall value of the business towards the market that they serve. If for instance a particular production process has lessened the quality of the product created by the organization for the market, the whole line becomes subjected to failure and performance evaluation.

Although only a part of the production line personnel failed to deliver their tasks properly, the whole organization’s working body would specifically be held responsible for such condition as they are considered as a single unit of entity. One example of which is that of the recent situation that occurred with GM motors when they needed to recall several thousands of cars from a particular model they have already made due to security purposes. Although the production departments are divided in sections, it could be realized that the whole body of workers related to GM motors are being scrutinized and asked about the case, especially in relation to how they are actually able to understand the situation as well as how much they know about how the issue could be resolved. Although at some point, they are not able to respond anything about the matter, they are held responsible for such issue in relation to how the public perceives the matter.

Conclusion

In this case, it could be understood that these employees, although they are not fully involved in the situation, they get the public concerns and they receive discrimination from the market that at some point, they are not even able to answer fully (Schneiderm et alm 2003). What constitutes the overall or the general recognition of an organization is the fact that each individual is held responsible as a member of the organization. It could be realized that this is the reason why even though some employees do not even know of anything about the concept creating the overall structure of a particular issue, they become specifically held discriminated in the face of the public.

The pressure that comes from the market specifically brings about a sense of control-issue on the part of the administration in relation to the way they are supposed to manage the problems. People who are involved with the organization are supposed to know about the situation and likely be able to provide specific suggestions on how to deal with the matter especially in relation to how they attest their role in the business as workers and as assets to the organization.
