Words: 305

Essay

Organizations have grown in support of community policing based on the fact that it is an essential factor in safeguarding the organizations themselves and the population in general. Community policing can prove to be the essential tool for security, similar to the use of e-mail for communicating. Community policing can prove to the vital element that can change the fortunes of organizations in terms of protecting the factors that the organizations may use for their operations.

Security is a vital factor in modern society, and this can be attributed to the increase in crime over the years. The policing industry may be overwhelmed with the responsibility of being in so many places simultaneously, and community policing can prove to be the actual solution to this problem. Organizations may provide their own security but in some cases they may be overpowered by the number of individuals that may seek to invade the organization and steal vital components of the organization.

In another case, the use of community policing can provide heightened security for the surroundings and it would benefit employees. In order to avoid the element of being late to work, they can live near the organization and with the use of community policing they can feel secure in the area. In this case community policing will be beneficial for both the employees and the organization, and reduce the level of crime in the given area.

The element of community policing will be fundamental as the police in the area can react in due time in comparison to the police that will have to leave their department and may be late at the scene of the crime. Community policing should be considered to be a crucial addition to communities, as it will beneficial for both the community in general and even the organizations that are located in these areas.
