Description of Diagnosis in Simple terms

 Mrs. R.T the symptoms you are experiencing medically is known as allegoric rhinitis. Simply it is a disorder whereby you are manifesting a reaction to particles or elements within your environment to which your body is not compatible. As such, you would find that once you get near to where these elements are you will have a runny nose, your eyes will water and you may even get some rales on your skin accompanied by itching. Already you have history of asthma and there are two cats in your home. Also you are a professional zoo keeper. Think of what may be affecting you being with animals that might trigger these symptoms. Are there any questions? (May & Smith, 2008).

Medication Management Education

Since your condition is mild and seasonal the medication you are presently using addresses symptoms of the disorder which creates inflammation to your nostrils. In the long term the goals is removing you from the environment that initiates these symptoms. It is administered nasally to relieve congestion within the nostrils. This drug is a steroid which has side effects in both long and short term. However, small doses do not produce immediate side effects (Rondón, Fernandez, Canto & Blanca, 2010).

Follow up education

If symptoms worsen at any time or you feel that the medication is affecting you adversely immediately contact your physician or go to the emergency room. Usually people affected by allergic rhinitis are predisposed to asthmatic attacks since the same substances can trigger wheezing. These are symptoms which warrant immediate medical intervention call 911 immediately and seek medical attention. In the meantime eat foods rich in vitamins and minerals, which could build the body’s immune system such as green leafy vegetables (Rondón et.al, 2010).
