Management as a process of extending one’s self to others

I do believe that management provides each person [hopeful leaders] to become more engaged in extending themselves to others especially in times when particular situations arise where their help and assistance may be highly required. Relatively, it could be understood that being able to extend one’s self for others’ welfare would best define one’s primary purpose in life.

Being an individual dedicated to the concept of sharing one’s capacity to improve other’s lives, I personally take this principle of management to heart. Having the capacity and the authority to direct matters in order to make things better for others is a sure consideration that basically gives me the chance to make sure that my life in itself is purposeful.

Management as a course of improving one’s self competency

In managing others, there are challenges. For me, these challenges serve as opportunities for me to expand myself. To become more than what I could be and to embrace a level of competence that will not only benefit me but also those who are surrounding me.

Management as a process of development

Management has allowed me to develop into a person I know I am best at. I do believe that when it comes to determining my self capacity to function, I am my best capability to improve when I focus on the development that I am able to provide not for myself alone but for others. Likely, this gives me a better sense of my self purpose. Seeing how government officials are expected to make change; I would like to do my part in aspiring development to improve the lives of others.

Management as a process of self-transformation

As I engage in more knowledge-developing learning patterns, I expect to transform further; making it easier for me to become a better individual fit for the purpose I hope to embrace. Being a leader in management, I hope to become more effective, especially in making sure that when it comes to my personality, I would be most productive for the sake of those who are following my lead.

Management as a form of self-improvement

Every challenge in both the process of learning and the process of applying what I have acquired from my lessons are expected to leave a mark on my thinking and the way I handle the different issue of management I would be involved with. In this case, I do hope to improve personally; one aspect of improvement that would allow me to engage in larger changes through the use of strengths and the management of my personal weaknesses [geared towards a transformation that shall equip me to be a better individual and a better leader].

This outline of management principles that I hope to embrace is one that shall guide me in becoming a better person able to face the different issues of leadership as I tend to guide others who are subjected under my care and are expecting to be given particular attention to.
