Words: 341

Essay

Politics plays a significant contribution in conflict as well as resolution of conflict. Politics behave in a similar manner as the underground water which runs through the lives of the individuals as well as their relationships resulting to the transmission of messages that are responsible for shaping the perceptions of the concerned individuals. This is in addition to the attributions, the judgments, the ideas of an individual as well as those of the rest of the people. Despite the fact that politics are associated with powers, they are nevertheless unconscious with an influence on conflicts together with the attempts of the resolution of the conflicts in ways that are imperceptible. The importance of politics surpasses the customs of languages, food as well as dress. There is a possibility of sharing the race, the nationality as well as ethnicity among diverse political groups but there is also a possibility of their origin from the generation cleavages, orientation in sex, socioeconomic classes, ability together with disability, affiliations with respect to political as well as religion, gender and the language.

Politics is usually associated with a dynamic aspect. Politics also relates to life’s symbolic dimension. Symbolic dimension has the reference of the situation of constant identification of meaning in conjunction with the enactment of identity. The cultural messages in the context of the group have the implication of issues of familiarity that are not known to the outsiders (Dieter, 42-67).

Although there is a strong intertwinement between politics and conflict, some of the approaches responsible for the resolution of conflict bring about the minimization of the issues of politics as well as their influence. The importance of politics warrants that it should be included in the analysis as well as interventions of the conflict. The acknowledgement of politics as well as the political fluency for the purpose of conflicting is responsible for offering assistance to a variety of people in the development of choices that are more intentional as well as adaptive.
