Polo is one of the oldest and organized sports in the world that has recently experienced an increasing growth. Polo is growing nearly everywhere and it seems that the sport has grown globally by approximately 7% in the past couple of years. The growth is encouraging trend among many countries around the world because polo is not only a sporting event, but also a wellness and healthy activity. In the past ten years, the sport currently enjoys growing international popularity (Roster 1). Many nations presently are playing the sport , novel clubs are being established , more women and men are taking up the sport, as well as corporate sponsors is investing more of their resources more in support. This clearly demonstrates how the sport has gained popularity in the world. According to the United States Polo Association, the sport has received more than 20% increase in clubs since 2011, with nearly a thousand more members in the last three years, and there has been over 30% increase in collegiate and junior players between 2011 and 2012. The increase has been attributed to diverse development programs funded from the commercial events of the association’s marketing arm. Polo is the best ever ball game and some consider it is the fastest growing spectator sport in globally (Herbert 1).

Therefore, founded on the growing popularity of the sport around the world, it is clear that the sport will grow to be one of the major sports in the world. Given the fact that sport is not only being taken a sporting event, but a wellness sport, many people will join the sport in future. Many nations have shown their interest to join the sport and they are being introduced to these counties.
