Words: 441

Essay

The United States has a population of 309,042,000. The population has been increasing by 40% of the number after every ten years. The states of Texas and California are the most populated while Arizona indicating the least population. By the end of the year 2005, almost 80% were found residing in the city. This means that the number was 247,233,600 of the total population and only 20% found in rural areas.

The total number of the birth rate in 2009 was 2 children per family. According to the Census Bureau of the United States the population increases by 0.84% to 0.90% within the twelve months of the year 2009. This is below the average of the world’s annual rate of 1.20%, despite the fact that it is highly industrialized. The 27.7% of the population represented people below the age of 20 years while 12.7% comprised of the people under the age of 65 years and above by the end of 2007. The nation median age was 36.8 years. The minorities comprised of only 103.6 million of the American’s population by the end of 2007. When I talk of the minority, I mean the African Americans together with Latino and the Hispanic Americans. The majority includes the White American that comprises the remaining share of the population.

The table Illustrates number of population between 1999 to 2010:

Population Between 1999 To 2010 TOTAL
1999 2002 2006 2008 2010
30,286,116 30,595,158 34,921,746 48,210,552 61,499,358 205,512,930
9.8% 9.9% 11.3% 15.6% 19.9%

The government finds it difficult to put their plans on the roads since there are many vehicles that pollute the air due to population increase. Therefore, the government should increase other means of transport such as the boats and the airplanes. The transport prices should be made affordable to every class of people. In air transport, the price for the plane fuel should be reduced to the vendors. Following this path will ensure that transportation is cheap and affordable. This will ensure that the number of motor vehicle reduce since transportation will be made faster and cheaper through the planes. The plane runoffs should be building in each an every state to make it convenient to travel any where at any time and to take the passengers to any place they prefer. The number of the boats at the marines should also be increased to ensure that some of the people travel with the boats.
