What makes up the society and its dependence to economic capitalism? According to Veblen’s idealism on economic capitalism, there are two sectors of identification that makes up a determinable economy. These elements include the consideration over the social stratification that is used to identify one person from another depending on the contribution that he makes on the economic development that is incurred by the society through time. These two distinct division of economic role players in the society include the distinction of individuals depending on the part that they take in relation to the option of improvement they hope to encourage as part of their understanding of the economic value they tend to take into account; this categorization includes the definition between the predatory instinct and the idealisms of workmanship that identifies well with the ideal process by which the concept of capitalization is accordingly established.

Capitalism is a distinct process of development that the economy highly depends upon even during the early centuries to which the human generations have strongly been established upon. Noticeably, the societies then had the chance to engage in distinct activities that would allow them to become a part of the development that they are expected to embrace. Primarily as described by Veblen, it was the emergent existence of particular behavior among humans that made it possible for definite conditions of economic understanding to arise. The culture that emerged between the capitalists against those of the workers created a more defined distinction on the role that each group takes into full account.

The predatory instinct is basically described as the distinct desire of particular individuals to rise to the challenge of development, to become something, to contribute something to the economy as much as needed. On the other hand, the concept of workmanship fuels the overall idea that identifies with what economic growth is about. Capitalists will never be successful in their feats without the existence of those who believe in the concept of workmanship. Those who do believe in this concept; and live along with its real value are able to take on a new sense on how they ought to take responsibility as to how they are going to use their talents and their skills in order to create a difference on how the economy advances accordingly. What makes this system work is that there are those who are willing to establish work opportunities, while there are those who are willing to work for those opportunities thus gaining equal benefits for them as well.

Noticeably, there are instances when such form of economic structure is questioned by socialists especially on the way it creates a label for each individual; aiming to create a more definite turn of indication on how the economy is going to make a turn especially in the middle of social changes. People take on different roles in the economy; and somehow, it is based on these roles that they are being stereotyped as well as labeled in relation to how they are using their talents to be able to contribute to the economic advancement that the society takes into full account.
