Public benefits are advantaging that people enjoy from the activities that occur within the environment. Private individuals running businesses can hinder the general public from getting the required standards of commodities and other essentials of life. Public health regulations are laws set to prevent the public from manipulation of any kind. These rules will vary according to the activities involved and the place they occur.

To prevent accidents at work, employees need special training on how to handle their tools. Preventive equipment for the employees should be provided to protect them from the dangers at work. If an employee is injured due to lack of safety equipment at work, he/she is eligible to compensation due to the employer’s negligence (Broad Yorkshire Law, 2012).

Seat belts are designed to save lives in motor vehicles in case of an accident. They prevent the body from hitting the walls of the vehicle and possibly being thrown out during an accident. The law requires that all vehicles be installed with the gadgets failure to which one is liable for charges. Vehicle occupants who ignore the seat belts are regarded as law breakers. They are personally responsible for risking their lives (Pickrell & Liu, 2014).

Motorcycles have become a means of transport increasingly. This has resulted into a high rate of road accidents. Protective devices such as helmets and overalls have been made compulsory both at personal and commercial level. All motorcyclists must undergo training on safety driving to be allowed on roads. Speed limits for the users have also been imposed failure to which one gets arrested (Pickrell & Liu, 2014).

Safety at home is emphasized because neighbors also suffer injuries. Keeping your compounds clean to avoid the spread of harmful organisms is a vital activity. Homes should clear off materials that may cause fire (Bulidium, 2012). Public health officers are assigned to overlook the state of the environment within their localities and take necessary measures. If the departments or individuals involved in setting up cautionary measures are reluctant in their work, the public is allowed to fight for their rights. Every person is entitled to a good working and living environment (National Safety Council, 2014).
