In my opinion, proponents of government regulation of cyber security have gone too far. What they are doing is not good, for both users and owners of cyber space. It cannot be good for the government to regulate the largest social network in the US. I think the cyber space should be regulate itself, but must address flagrant privacy invasions. A lot of cyberspace information has been made public because of unresolved privacy issues; such information should have been left private (Elkin & Salzberger, 2009). I do not appreciate government involvement because they are likely to mess up things. Cyber space is a social network that goes beyond the limits of national borders. This is the reason why people across the planet are is using cyber space. Proponents of government involvement in cyber security should attempt to initiate more marketing strategies for entrepreneurs, which will assist them in getting their businesses on the ground. In this context, cyber space sites are commendable in advertising. Similarly, the government should focus on creating more affordable advertising for the online marketers. However, I acknowledge that the government needs to do something to prosecute and ban cyber space offenders (Cavazos, & Morin, 2010).

The scale of African Union defense department is unique; it entails an array of different organizations. Under this department, 80,000 personnel are administering 14,000 networks. Approximately 4 million workers are using 8 million IT devices and computers. The department is responsible for collaborating within the organizations. This is the reason why the AU defense department has built a cyber security culture. This has included certifying all people involved in training and administrators of the 4 million employees to realize that when one logs on, he/she is the frontline of the department’s cyber defense. The department has taken initiatives to create new technologies of cyber security. This involves developing new military commands and improving the structure of command, which will result in a new unit namely, cyber command. This unit will help in better coordination of every day defense activities of the military networks (Elkin & Salzberger, 2009).
