The prime aim of Children of Bellevue (CoB) is to improve the health and well-being of children at Bellevue Hospital Center (CoB, 2013). The promotional program is meant to encourage individuals and organizations contribute to the cause by providing financial, resource aid and voluntary services (Miksen, 2013). Communication plan is supposed to enhance public relations at Children of Bellevue. The key objective of this promotional plan is to make people aware of CoB’s aim and activities and create their interest in CoB’s activities. These strategies also ought to encourage people to contribute to the program (Holland, 2013). To note, the best way to promote these activities is to provide the society with the information they need regarding the program and its value for the children and the community as a whole.
In doing so, it is important to consider the channels of communication that shall be used to reach out to the community. One ways it through informative banners that are to be placed on strategic locations that could be easily seen by particular focus groups like charity organizations for children, schools, parents and practically anyone from the society who would like to take part in making the lives of the young patients much easier to contend with. Another way of getting attention from the public is through social media and online ad postings. Utilizing the internet, the group could consider establishing forums where they are likely to attract the individuals who are likely to be involved and interested in helping the group with their missions. Through these forums, social networks could be interlinked hence making a distinct impact on the popularization of all the accounts or the group including that of their website. The social media connections are expected to establish a certain rate of popularity in the internet. Such popularity could be used by the organization to entice those who are interested to support its aims and become a part of the process of providing the children with better choices in life amidst being sick. The said presentations need to be interactive and eye-catching. Online ads are also in need of being interesting to motivate online users to click the link and be directed to the organization’s website. Only then shall the interest of the public could be turned into something useful for the organization and the aim it has established to reach.
With these specific ways of attracting the right people to go in accord with the mission of the organization and become more aware of the situation of the children who are being helped by CoB, it is expected that better familiarity from the public could be gained. In result to the campaign, higher sources of support from the public and from particular organizations that could provide relative budget allocations for the programs of CoB is expected to come into realization.
