In my opinion, a person can be motivated by a desire for personal financial gain function effectively in government. This is because an individual can be manipulated by greed to gain personal finances within government at any time major events that concern huge sums of cash, numerous players, or large quantities of goods frequently with disaster state of affairs are at risk. Typically, the sums of cash involved can be huge; a comparatively small quantity of corrupt disbursement is hard to get attention. Alternatively, the amount of actions can be quite huge and manipulated effortlessly.

If I were a member of the search committee for a new city manager for your community, I would want to see various characteristics and skills in the person I hire to run the city’s affairs. These characteristics would include a demonstration documentation of comprehensive and transparent headship in guiding a company. The individual should trust in making a difference via public service, and strong administration. He or she should he guarantee an exceptional quality of living for residents whilst maintaining economic stability. He or she must be tough, motivated, and knowledgeable with established strategic decision-making proficiencies, and an individual of superior honor and unquestionable moral principles. A city manager must have abilities such as utmost leadership ability, organizational and pecuniary skills, progressive philosophy and methodology, instilling value within and deference for the business and its workforce, and communicating the overall city objectives.
