Essay

Specific allocation of work force on the list of operations that are supposed to be given attention to in a pizza shop is a vital source of working competence among the employees. Serving in the waiting area, as seen from the simulation, is a specific task that needs to be completed fast especially that it affects customer satisfaction as a whole. In relation to this matter, it has been shown through the simulation’s progress that allocating more workers into the waiting station helps in making the process of ordering and serving the customers much faster. The competence of more workers outside increases the capacity of the store to keep more clients as they try to extend the patience of each ordering individual. To this matter it is evident that the system approach management, one of the eight major quality management principles present a great deal of attention on how the primary operation of modern food shops tend to undergo the challenges that the modern community of consumers impose on them. In this case, not only does the system approach management affect the overall operation of the store but also the outlook of the workers as they define the reason behind their role in each food shop.

Another aspect that has been applied in line with the simulation’s progress is that of the customer-focused organization. The customer-focused organization is of course a process that identifies strongly with the capability of the personnel in a specific shop to create a more responsive service that would be able to create a satisfying experience for the customers. From this point of primary service, the shop’s personnel would expect a return of customer loyalty, which would ensure them of extensive capability to remain in line with the top competitors in the market. When the system of operation of an organization is customer-focused, it could be analyzed how every single detail of cooperation between workers is designed to meet customer needs and demands. Relatively, it is the desire of each organization to make sure that their customers are served well, however, only a few organizations are actually able to come up with an effective system that corresponds well to the principles of customer satisfaction.

Going back to the progress report basing from the simulation, it was specifically shown that the involvement of people through re-allocating the role that each employee plays was a key process that was embraced by the administration to be able to solve the issue of long waiting lines. With the proper allocation of individuals to work on specific roles specifically referring to ordering and responding to order cues, the faster the service became. The outcome is likely to affect the condition of the people’s appeal towards the situation hence making an extensive consideration over how implicative the process of development is especially when it comes to putting the customers’ convenience first in line. In this scenario, it was shown how important it is for the customers’ voice to be heard and be given attention to. Their satisfaction from the service and the quality of product presented to them by the organization identifies the possibility of that specific food shop to remain in the industry for a long time.

True, in the food-chain market, the competition often boils down to service. While the products are almost the same [except for specific menus], the service process by which the customers are given attention to specifically differ especially when it comes to identifying who the organization wants to give particular importance to. If it is the customers that come first, it is most often than not that the administrators would find the best way possible to respond to the needs of the people they serve even if it means readjusting their system or allocating their work force just to respond to such demands. Following the example from this simulation project, it could be analyzed how quality meetings could help in further putting the organization’s goal into serious consideration hence realigning how the operation of the business goes. Pareto charts could also serve as specific guidelines that could provide the company personnel with the proper allotment of time and attention as to what specific tasks need to be completed first and what should follow after. Relatively, conditioning the mind of the employees through assisting them effectively would create a more workable environment that the workers would be specifically able to respond to. In the hope of applying the learning curve theory successfully, this course of operational projection intends to create a sense of realization on what must be placed as primary stakeholders of an organization hence creating a more refined culture that the people would follow as a whole.
