I would like to forward my request that you do not close the grocery branch you have within the city’s district. I was told that the company has moved to close most of its under-performing branches. Being a manager of the city, I do understand your reasons and I feel for your company. Nonetheless, I do feel strongly about the decision to close the branch you have established in the city. My reasons for such refusal are as follows:

1. The grocery’s provision of low-priced products has helped the city’s poor residents so much as they become engaged in having the capacity of buying from your stores amidst the economic limitations they may be having.
2. The location of your store is practical enough for commuters and for those who may not have enough to pay for commute.

I, as the mayor, appreciate the role that your store is noted for in relation to how it supports the overall consideration on how the people of the city are given the supplies they need at a much reasonable price that they can pay for. I would like to point out that in appreciation for such matter; the city’s office is willing to help out in improving the sales rate of the company in as much as we could. I could personally help in assisting your business gain more from the market through giving you a leeway for low-rate paid advertisements in some local newspapers including some of the publicly owned radio-stations. Besides this, the city-administration would also be open to giving distinct assistance to the paper-based advertisements that the organization could use to empower its strength in the market.

I sincerely hope you’d be able to see the value of my request and consider the assistance that I and the whole city is willing to give forth for your business for the sake of keeping it from closing down.
