Focus/Unity

The writer focuses on the transition from Medicaid to Medicare. They have clearly brought out the differences between the two policies while underlining the benefits that Medicaid has to offer. This has acted as the launch pad for their argument on the mismanagement and improper transition that may pose a threat to the efficiency of the policy. The writer has clearly interpreted the literature as they have effectively applied the statistical data embedded within the literature to support their arguments. They have also managed to provide different perspectives to the issue, taking into consideration all the stakeholders.

Each section of the writing clearly relates to the primary focus, that is the improper management and implementation of the Medicare policy. This is because each section provides a unique point of view related to the primary focus. All the sections introduce material relevant to the primary focus.

Development

The draft paper depicts a careful, thorough and detailed research on the primary focus. This is owing to the multiple points of view that the writer provides. The summaries of the sources are accurate and quite objective. This is owing to the fact that they provide all the required information relating to the particular source, all of which are relevant to the primary focus. All the fundamental sources that form the basis of arguments are provided, all of which are appropriate.

Organization

The writer effectively breaks down the discussion by employing descriptive but short sub-topics that make the paper easier to read and understand. All of the sections within the paper are consistent with this mode.

Each paragraph has a good transition from the previous one. The writer has achieved this while providing a different point in every new paragraph. This coherence has been maintained and duplicated within every paragraph. The annotations are all specific to the information and argument that is being conveyed by the writer.

Style

The voice employed by the writer is fit and appropriate for expository writing. The writer has maintained third person in the writing. The diction is rather formal and positive. This is owing to the choice of words given by the writer. They opt for a simpler choice of word to make the paper easily comprehendible by a layman.

The writer has explained some of the concepts that have been included in the paper. The writer has clearly shown them. Most of sentences are the average length, three lines. However, there are a few sentences that are over five lines long.

Conventions

The writer only mistakenly omits an article in the first sentence in the section, “Praise from Legislators”. An appropriate formatting style has not been employed by the writer or maintained throughout the paper. The two sections of the paper are in different fonts (Calibri and Times New Roman). The project has not been submitted in an appropriate fashion. Even though the work is in-depth, the formatting denies the paper a professional presentation.

Psychology Literature Review Response

The writer manages to capture the audience’s attention by painting a clear picture of their subject matter, paranoid schizophrenia. The writer focuses on the historical psychiatric advancements that were made by some of the best psychologist in the past.

The writer depicts a remarkable understanding and interpretation of the literature. The writer understands the critical terminologies associated with the subject matter and adequately explains them. The writer shows a good interpretation as opposed to judgement as he provides facts and sources to back up their arguments. Al the sections of the writing are fully related to the focus with each section having only relevant material.

Development

The draft depicts a well and deeply researched paper. This is owing to the effective and adequate use of all the important terminologies. The summaries of the sources are very objective and accurate as they outline the main ideas entrenched in the sources. This has provided the reader with the most appropriate sources.

Organization

The writer fails to break down the discussion into sub-topics. They have chosen to write in complete prose form. This makes the paper long and difficult to read. The second section however is broken into the required sections per source. The paragraphs have good transitions that allows for an even flow of thought for the reader.  Coherence is observed within all paragraphs. The annotations are on the other hand specific.

Style

The voice employed by the writer is appropriate for expository writing. They have also maintained writing in third person. The diction is very formal as it shows complexity in the thought process employed in writing. Most of the concepts are not clearly explained for the reader. The sentences are of average length.

Conventions

The writer maintains good grammar with no mistakes. The writer has employed an appropriate formatting style and has observed it throughout the paper. The project has been submitted in an appropriate and professional fashion.
