Reflection Letter, Essay Example

Essay

I would like to present to you this letter to note the different aspects of development that I have incurred in writing while working on the activities that you have tasked us to complete in class. Alongside with this, I would also want to mention to you the different aspects of improvements I still hope to incur in the future through productive learning which I sincerely believe will equip me with the right writing skills that I need even after I graduate from the university and face the real world of work and opportunities.

First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge the fact that this course has encouraged me enough to dig deeper and find a more refined research that would assure the way that I handle my tasks for an assured good outcome. This specifically became realistic especially when I was given the chance to handle a group-based work that involved issues that are crucial in making the presentation itself work for myself and for the group. At this point, I was able to realize that in writing, I needed to make sure that the elements of procedures I embrace would actually make a great impact on how the outcomes of my work would specifically define the worth of my team’s work and the efforts that we place into the said matter hence making it more reliably effective for me and my team to make a great impression and take a lot of learning points from the tasks that we complete.

Notably, I wanted to make so much out of what I was learning from the course and in the process of doing so, I have stumbled into particular weaknesses that almost hindered me into reaching my goals that I have set both for myself and for my team during the individual and the group task completion. One of the said weaknesses was lack of focus. Although I knew what I was supposed to do, wanting to do so much almost pushed me to finishing nothing and ending up cramming during the last few hours of the day. To get over this particular source of personal failure, I committed myself into creating a schedule and following such schedule accordingly hence assuring that I am able to fulfil the tasks I was supposed to complete during the day.

Among the strengths that I had during the tasks’ completion on the other end was an extensive source of interest that made it easier for me to give attention to the important thing that I should accomplish especially when I have already established my schedule through the help of Gantt chart which I used to check whether or not I met my own expectations. I should say that adjustment process was not that easy to comply with but with discipline and persistence, I was not only able to eliminate focus issues, but also found out that my writing improved so much that it almost surprised me to see what I have done in the end.

Overall, I could say that this experience and this course has given so much of the notable skills I needed to make sure that my future writing endeavours would be of great result for my own benefit and for those who are working alongside me. This allowed me to be concerned about what I can do to improve myself and be of great contribution to the progress of others at the same time.
