Pages: 1

Words: 375

Essay

1.Organizational change is best accomplished through an understanding of how systems operate, while also considering the expansion of knowledge to achieve the desired results (Kitson, 2009). Change within a complex organizational system such as a health care facility must be conveyed using innovation as a primary resource (Kitson, 2009). These efforts will demonstrate that professional nurses and other employees are capable of using innovative techniques and strategies to improve patient care quality and in shaping resource utilization in a positive and meaningful manner.

2.An organization’s culture has a significant impact on team development and sustainability. In many organizations, teams evolve in a dysfunctional manner and are not successful over the long term; however, team communication is a critical component of successful outcomes and optimal achievement in the growth and success of team dynamics (Horwitz et.al, 2011). In addition, the organizational culture may be very different from individual team objectives; therefore, this culture may prohibit the desired accomplishes that the team strives to achieve (Horwitz et.al, 2011). It is important to develop a team-based environment from the ground up which supports long-term success and achievement in all tasks and responsibilities.

3.Nursing research is an important and meaningful resource to advance the scope of practice and patient care in many ways. Nurses who perform research must be knowledgeable and respectful of all required ethical regulations and responsibilities, including the protection of human subjects and the general sensitive nature of nursing data and subject matter (Harrowing et.al, 2010). The surrounding environment, the scope and breadth of the issue under consideration, and bioethical approaches must be considered when conducting a nursing research study and should provide a comprehensive framework that will identify and protect all ethical considerations (Harrowing et.al, 2010). These efforts will facilitate the development of successful and ethically responsible outcomes for nurse researchers (Harrowing et.al, 2010).
