Farmer: I would love to have a land of my own; I deserve it! I’ve been toiling for years on this land and I deserve more than this. The government should hear me; they should give us farmers what we deserve.

Young Woman: I understand what you want, and I feel for your need. I do believe that you do deserve something out from all the efforts that you have placed forward to toil in this land. However, there needs to be some time for your request to be forwarded to the authorities.

Farmer: No! I deserve it now! Me and my fellow farmers have already been having a hard time pushing for what we deserve to receive for many years. The government and all these white fellows have all been gaining so much from our hard work and have been giving nothing in return. I deserve something more and I do believe I am capable of handling the requirements; whatever it takes.

Young Woman: That is good to know; at least you are willing to give it what it takes. I admire your willingness; the time and sacrifice that you have put forth in order to tend this land is more than what it takes to actually own whatever land you have worked upon. I’m sure the government would be able to find time to listen to your requests.

Farmer: Well, I hope you say the truth; or at least a part of it would be true as it would mean the life of me. I am doubting though that what you said would be heard by the white lords and if they would not be able to keep off the authority from giving us what we deserve and pushing for laws that we deserve to have to protect us.

Young Woman: Let us not lose hope and push for what is best for us and our fellowmen.
