Introduction
Ronald Wilson Reagan was born in February 6, 1911 and passed away in June 5, 2004. However, he is famous for been the 40th President of the United State in the year 1981 to 1989, and the California 33rd Governor in 1967 to 1975. Ronald Reagan was born in Tampico, Illinois; but in 1930s, he migrated to Los Angeles, California, where he embarked on with a career as an actor. He was appearing in films; however, he started gaining fame and appeared in television. Ronald Reagan appeared in fifty two-movie production and that the period he gained total confidence and success of becoming a household name. Even though many people described him as a B film actor, he was not demoralized and he starred in together All American, Kings Row and Knute Rockne. Ronald Wilson Reagan was elected as president of the Screen Actors Guild, but he was transferred to the spokesperson for General Electric (GE) later. (McPherson, Appleby, J. James, M. & Brinkley, 2003)
However, his career as a politician started during this time as a spokesperson for GE. Initially, he joined the Democratic Party, but he changed to the Republican Party in year 1962. In 1964, he delivered a rousing speech, which gave support to presidential candidacy of Barry Goldwater’s (McPherson, Appleby, J. James, M. & Brinkley, 2003). Nevertheless, a lot people started persuading him to seek the governorship of California whereby he won two years later and yet again in 1970. However, in 1968 and 1976 he was been defeated in the nomination in his run for the Republican presidential. However, in 1980, he emerged as a winner in both the election and the nomination.
While serving in his period as the president, Ronald Reagan came with new ideas of implementing new political and economic initiatives.
