Essay

Why take unrelated courses to the one that one already takes into account?? The consideration over such matter is concentrated on the desire of students to increase their competency in completing their actual tasks alongside the profession that they have actually decided to take seriously as part of the course they have considered to finish. In this article, Reed and Lyford have been more concerned about the effect of students taking science courses even though they belong to non-science majors.

Science courses are expected to provide a definite sense of defining a distinct sense of students being able to complete tasks based on effective problem-solving procedures. Noticeably, students taught with this particular skill become more capable of handling extensive situations that often involve major issues often challenging their capacity to face the problems accordingly.

Furthermore, the article sets an observational point that distinguishes the comparison between students who have enrolled in science cases amidst not belonging to a science-major course to those who may have not fully considered enrolling in such a class. It has been seen accordingly that somehow, these students became more effective in solving problems especially during points of critical situations. Noticeably, students who have become more effective in making resolutions to the tasks they are presented with become more effective in facing actual tasks in the jobs that they are to engage in. Practically, the society have become more open to the possibility of engaging in different situations apart from what they are interested in to make sure that they are to create a definite insistence on how they become more effective in accomplishing their goals as well as that of the role that they are taking into account when they are engaging in tasks given to them at work.
