In President Johnson commencement address he pointed out that our earth is the home of revolution. We understand that every individual fight for freedom and pride. Freedom is not enough to wipe away the scars of centuries. This freedom is not enough to open the gates of opportunity. Every citizen must have the chance to take part in exercising their rights.

Opportunity is what every individual aim to make use of. We seek human ability, not just equality as (a right and theory) but equality as a fact and equality as an outcome. Justice is also talked about; justice is applied to be able to gather for fair expectation of man.

Moynihan report was a report prepared for President Johnson. In the report Moynihan who is a democrat who specialize in family and welfare policies was accused of racism. The report aid in facilitating increase aid to black families, the report reported that major challenges were brought about as a result of slavery which had pinned down the emergence of strongholds and main public figure. Moynihan’s report address issues of the government attempts to deal with the economic underclass moreso, blacks. The report majorly focuses on the discussion of children born out of wedlock.

It is realized that excellent intentions and vigorous undertakings to improve social condition have been highly crippled, sabotaged and deflected by internal forces that have already pre-shaped the channels of thought. The argument is presented as such because those who intend good and act with vigor also believe some things to be true about the poor, the black and the disadvantaged.

The victim comprise of the miseducated child in the slum school. This child is blamed for his/her own miseducation.He is believed to have within himself the causes of his /her inability to read and write. The cultural deprivation is factored in basing on the child(this poor child carries a scanty pack of cultural baggage as he enroll in to the school)he /she is disadvantaged because he is not accessed to many things such as there are no books at home his parents are unable to subscribe to reading articles such as readers digest.

In conclusion the books deal with the issues of racism, increased poverty and justices/injustices.
