Smart Robots, Research Paper Example

Words: 336

Research Paper

Smart Robots that act and feel human and are capable of doing the things that humans can do is not a far off concept, it can be said that it is anything but an impossibility. Smart Robots are indeed the future but not to the point where there would be no humans to govern them or shut them down like in the Terminator movies, creating a smart robot to be used to get good grades, walk the dog at 5am, make breakfast for the children even lecture a college class while you’re in the lounge or in your car grabbing something is something that I think people would benefit from.

There are way too many people who complain about how they do not have time to do the things that they want to do, having a smart robot would alleviate that hence leaving people open to be able to try new things or to spend time with that special someone alone. The smart robots would be great assets for families who have servicemen and women overseas, the robots could take the place of that servicemen so they can spend time with their families. A robot that is capable of human feelings and emotions is a huge technological advancement. Creating these smart robots to look as close to humans as possible would indeed create an environment where people would be bereft of the concept of death.

An example of this is when a person dies, this person was beloved by all and their entourage misses them. A smart robot that thinks, feels, plays video games and lives as that person did would give grieving people a second chance with that person, the dead person in the smart robot’s body gets a second chance at life.

In conclusion, smart robots would indeed have their purpose in life not mention help so many people who live busy lives or unhappy ones; smart robots have a place in the human world as they should have. They are proof that technology preserves not destroys.
