In relation to the U.S. government Housing and Urban Development strategy, as indicated in the U.S. Housing Act of 1937. The effects of the Housing and Urban development policies and also in accordance to the Housing voucher program, facilitated the family-self-sufficiency program to have a great impact to the homelessness. This program of Family-Self-Sufficiency has greatly helped a lot of U.S. citizen to own their own houses. Therefore, setting up of a Special Interest Group would greatly help the members of Family-Self-Sufficiency in acquiring their own complex houses in any part of the U.S. It is under the Housing and urban development government policies to develop cities by ensuring people do not pay a large amount of house rent regardless of the residential area. This arrangement was made successful through Housing Voucher Program of which is not working well due to the numbers of the available vouchers. Many people within the U.S. are in need of their own houses but the problem is that the provided vouchers are very few by comparing the large number who is in need of them. Also funding for the Vouchers is very difficult to make of them. There the Family-Self-Sufficiency enables its members so safe within 5 year and be able to own any house of his/her choice. The creation of Special Interest Group will also be able to educate all the FSS members about the available houses their buying prices and strategies to be used in acquiring them. When buying a land, one should be aware of con artists, there may also be issues with the houses one is intending to buy. Therefore, the special interest group will be able to help all the FSS members from falling under the tricks of the con artists hence providing them with the best procedures of acquiring houses. It will also assist in helping the FSS members to houses at low prices in a very conducive environment. However, housing sector in one of the profitable Business which can make one to become a millionaire, setting up a rental unit will definitely make the owner to earn monthly. Therefore, the special interest group will also help them to acquire rental houses in the most profitable areas due to the braining storming strategy among the members (Beautford, 2004)

In creation of a respectful and development of legislation strategy admirable by the public may mean a lot to the development of a special interest group. Effective policy rules, regulations, and legislation may be attained through organized strategy of policy development by the officials. Creation of the Special Interest Groups under the FSS will be determined by cabinet director of SIGs. The treasurer will also provide the financial statements in every general meeting; provide receipts and vouchers for all monetary transactions. The SIG dissolution will only arise through unanimous agreement of all members in the annual general meeting or by the recommendation from the leadership, that the SIG cabinet or the Board of Directors (Beautford, 2004).

Issues and drawbacks of SIGs

The SIG will operate as a non-profit making organization, working together with all other professional societies and educational institution within the U.S. It is operation will be in accordance to the law of the U.S. It will cover all the challenges being faced by the minority groups by lending a hand through critical investment techniques in the real estate. It will be through selection of the strong houses at a very conducive environment. The SIG is mainly founded for the benefit of those who are homelessness and are in need of their own houses. It is also intended to assist in tackling the housing voucher program failures hence giving opportunity to everyone in order to own his/her house, whether rental apartment or personal. The operation will only be based within the U.S. where the policy of Housing and Urban Development is working. The expected challenges in running the FSS organized SIG will only arise from different direction. For, instance due the fact that we are living In a political world some member will be expected to bring politics in the running of the SIG. this guys will be targeting the benefits they can gain from  the other people’s saved money. This men are always greedy are will try to fight for leadership in apolitical manner hence may separate members into different groups hence failure in the operation. It is also expected that as some people are  very busy at different businesses may also fail at different SIG meeting, where by their contribution in speech would have resulted to a great impact such may not be received due to their absenteeism. Also in some cases the treasurer may easily use the SIG money through fraud hence accepting the running of the SIG. In some cases money may possibly get stolen when being taken to the banker after all the members have contributed hence affecting the activities of the SIG. Sometimes also the chairperson and secretary may also be very reluctant in calling for the meeting. In such the morally of the member may easily get affected hence minimal contribution to the success of the SIG (Elaine, 2012).

Conclusion

Special Interest Groups assist their members to attain useful knowledge in operation of their businesses hence great profits. Most of them have also facilitated their members in acquisition of quality products at a fair price. It is essential for all persons in the same line business or profession to organise SIGs. The fact is that SIGs have numerous benefits to their members.
