St. Mary’s Health Care organization for Children is a profitable organization that mostly aims at promoting and improving high-quality health care services for children, as well as other families with special needs in the society. The organization also provides health care services to the general community including the provision of specialized health care services, education of children with special needs and the provision of intensive rehabilitation services in the society.  Furthermore, the firm also offers acute care facilities and services especially involving premature birth, complicated health care, and other education-based services. Based on my educational history and background, I have recently graduated from an associate science degree nursing program and joining St. Mary’s Health Care Systems for children will provide me with the best opportunity to exercise my nursing skills and competencies.  I am also planning to continue with my studies and education especially for Bachelor of Science in nursing degree program at Chamberlin College of Nursing and am planning to graduate in late 2016. I also have an associate degree in nursing from Nassau Community College, which is certified by the American Heart Association.  Furthermore, I also have Bachelor of Science degree especially in speech-language pathology and audiology from St. John’s University in Jamaica. These skills will help in dealing with various children health care services including special children health care delivery systems.

In addition, my clinical experience such as medical-surgical and telemetry skills that I gained from Plain view medical hospital, from Franklin Hospital as well as from LIJ Medical Center and Winthrop University Hospital will allow me to deal with various children health care complications.  I also have geriatric care skills, children rehabilitation experience as well as pediatric and obstetric skills and these skills and wide experiences will help in promoting children care and services in St. Mary’s Health Care Systems for Children.

I have also worked with various medical based organizations such as Nassau Country Department for social services especially from 2006 to 2013. I also have good financial management skills based on my wide experience in computer-based budget services.

Therefore, joining St. Mary’s Health Care System for Children will fulfill my dreams of providing health care services for children.
