Answer 2: I would have been the tough but fair guard in this research. I believe in equal treatment of every person and working under set rules to ensure the job is effectively done. But, besides that, I am also human, and I advocate for the proper treatment of prisoners (Zimbardo, 8).

Answer 4: If I were a prisoner, I would have endured the experience for a while. It would have been a difficult task because a prisoner is denied a lot of freedom, but then it’s worth it. I would not be involved in strikes or other activities that could make the guards angry, nor could I engage in activities against the law (Zimbardo, 3).

Answer 11: Psychological prisons are formed by how individuals treat others. People are degraded and less valued in our society, the same case in prisons. We are frequently advised to keep our mouths shut regarding specific topics affecting our society, and in this way, we are lack freedom, same case in a real jail. In marriages, prison is seen as the guy as the guard and the woman as the prisoner. In this case, she is to be under the man’s rule and do what the male wants her to do, and if she does not, things turn hostile.

Answer 13: I believe that the purpose of the Stanley Milgram experiment was not well stated in the article and the slides. Milgram’s experiment was valid for the period when the Germans were made to act violently. From my point of view, luring a person into obeying brutal orders from another person is a danger to the participants (Zimbardo, 2). I believe that experiments should be conducted so that those involved are not harmed, either bodily or psychologically, unethical (Zimbardo, 2).

Answer 16: Prisons are a correctional system. I believe it is vital to help prisoners change their actions. Guards play a crucial role in the inmate’s process of changing their behavior as they continue to enforce laws.

In this experiment, some guards were hostile to the prisoners, even on petty issues.

Surveillance on the guards will see a significant reduction in the issue of guards harassing prisoners (Zimbardo, 2). In addition, the use of a camera in hallways will help in the surveillance and monitoring for unusual acts.
