The company should look at the advantages and disadvantages of opening a new store.

The company must also look at the topographical status of the new site. They should know if the store is on a well established site that cannot be tracked with any earthquake.

The comp-any needs to find a way of how to employ new employees such as the manager and customer service personnel to take care of the store (Thomas, 2007).

The company needs to find out whether it has enough funds before deciding to open a new store.

The steps ZebraRuns Company should take to make an effective decision

The ZebraRuns should create a constructive environment by establishing the objective, involving the right people, agree on the process and allowing for the opinions to be heard.

The company should generate good alternatives by generating ideas, considering different perspectives and organizing ideas before making a decision

The company must be ready to explore alternatives through risk, implications and validation.

After the company has evaluated all the alternatives, the next step is to choose between the alternatives and take the best of all.

The company should check their decision by testing the assumptions and the decisions you’ve made against your own experience, and thoroughly reviewing and exploring any doubts you might have (Applin, 1997).

The last step is to communicate the decision and move to action. This entails the explanation of the decisions to the people affected and implementing them.
