Essay

Self-publishing tools such as Twitter have become innovative tools for upgraded technology of today. These innovative tools have allowed young adults, students and older people to share blogs, feelings and news across the world through the use of key strokes and the touch of a button. Twitter hopes to improve development and classroom communication skills online. Granting discretionary privileges to students whilst at school will allow children to make educational posts and enjoy the use of the site while building essential communication skills. The proposed Youth Twitter will have the same benefits as the traditional Twitter but will be advanced with only discretional controls to monitor the content that children are able to place whilst at school.

One of the main goals for using the new Twitter will be for assistance with online school projects and other learning tools. Children learn through communication and Youth Twitter will open up a whole new learning for children to explore. Posting tweets will allow followers to learn new innovative ways to have their research spread to other students and share ideas with students, parents and curious observers. New innovative technologies that promote social networking can be beneficial in ways unknown to us but this particular networking will benefit the younger society to help broaden the level of research through communication with other students seeking the same support. Many professors state that using Twitter and Young Twitter teaches essential skills needed in today’s twenty-first century world. All of these skills will be needed to progress later in life in order to be successful in life and with career choices.
