I am writing regarding the announcement in Publishers weekly regarding the bookseller’s show you plan to have this summer. I’m writing to request for a chance and space for showing my two books. I am a new publisher with some books to sell and this book showing will aid in its achievement.
The chance and opportunity (if offered) will do me great. In showing my books, I think it will be good a idea if I will do some live airbrushing on T-shirts to aid in the promotion of my fresh title, “T-Shirt Art”. Prior to my career in publishing, I acted as airbrush artist, and this aided me in getting experience in airbrushing. The gained experience will allow me to do airbrushing with ease. Airbrushing will be of great importance for the sales of my books. I’ve done many marketing illustrations in the past. As well, I have been a sign painter and this will enable me to promote my other new book, “How to Make Money in the Sign Painting Business”.
I opt to start my PR campaign by June 2009 accompanied by ads in PW. Art trade papers will as well be used. I hope that this will allow my books to gain publicity when the show comes later in September. I do permit the usage of my portrait in your publicity and I have attached it as well as biography. Feel free to use it.
