Essay

Civilization can be described as a process by which a society undergoes to reach to more advanced stage of social interactions organization and development. It is from the definition that this study would build the argument since it articulates details on civilization and its impact on a society. However, in order to unstain the impact of civilization it is also important to look briefly at the pre-civilization period during Neolithic age. For over the past twenty five hundred years of recorded history, there is certain form of civilization that the early man adopts since the operated in similar style that favors everyone. To understand this theory better, the Egyptians are said to be the type of Neolithic age. However, as the days were moving forward, western civilization arose. It is recorded in the books of history that western civilization first began in southern and western Europe after demines of the Roman Empire, which was the final political type of classical civilization. Civilization later spread to the rest of the societies of the world. Every form of civilization has always record a unique change in the history of humankind, in that over the last five thousand years, civilization has existed in the record of history. The significant of civilization however, is to transform the manner by which humans organize and relate and also it connects an individual to spiritual forces, moral values and the material environment in that the entire society is changed. There the countries needed the influence of each other in order to spread civilization to the whole world. From that short elaboration, it is ascertain that America as a part of western civilization and not separate entity of civilization.

If America is said to be a separate civilization, then history is made of no effect. As long as history existed, America was one country that explains the civilization of the entire world. According to the historians, the missed ancestry delivered to western civilization a rich heritage. Without that heritage, civilization could never have happened in the west. The Greek achievements of knowledge in science, philosophy, mathematics, and art were one of the rich inheritances that the western civilization benefited from (MacLean 32). In addition, there were Roman developments in technology ways of governance and creation of laws was some of the methods that were impacted on European civilization. The spread of Christianity was another aspect that contributed greatly to modernization. This proof from history is the main reason that argues that America is part of western civilization and not separate because it is from these rich heritages that America derives some if its practices in culture and their ways of life.

American system of government is also another proof that make America part of the western civilization. If America was a separate civilization, there form of government would not as it is today. It is Greece and Rome that contributed to the formation of republican government. American must have derived the idea of republican government from these two countries and hence forth making it part of western civilization (James, Anna, and Keith 92). In the same effect, the religion of Christianity and Islamic is widely spread in America as the Christians dominating the bigger percentage. The Christians had Greece and roman background while the Muslims had Arabian, Persian, Chinese, and Indian background. The spread of these two religions in America makes America part of civilization and not separate entity.

America’s interactions with other countries even in times of was a reason that make America part of civilization. During America, revolution in 1775-83 was a defining moment for America when the British tried to function in their own rights in the North America. The colonists had to rise up and defend their nation and that is the reason why America engaged in revolution (James, Anna, and Keith 110). While engaging in war with the European colonists, there was exchange in ideas of war skills that have civilized the both countries. Both countries learned new tactics of war and learned how to use modern weapons during war. This effect has led to the creation of atomic bombs and other dangerous weapons that are used in today’s wars. The war engagements and the learning of new tactics of war make America part of civilization and not separate from civilization.

America being one of the powerful and leading nations of the west dominate world civilization on the globe has been because of civilization of the world. America could have not rise to that place of dominance without the impact of civilization. Civilization caused development in countries of the world. The rigorous manner by which America views the world is a clear reason why they were influenced by civilization. If this was not so, them America could still be living in the old setup (James, Anna, and Keith 112). Today, that approach is defined by science. Over the years, science has powered technology to its advancement. This intern led to the growth of the economy. America is one of the countries that are enjoying the privileges that science has made in their economy and they have some their technology products that they distribute to the world market. These effects categorized America as part of civilization because of the way America views the entire universe.

The difference is therefore becoming even more similar because there are certain features that could reticulates the impact of civilization in America and other countries of the world. It is historic that Christianity and Muslim religions are spread to almost all the nations of the world making the impact of civilization more similar to each other. Modern technology is another reason that makes the difference more similar since technology is the major impact of today’s economy booster (MacLean 78).

For that matter, the whole world is becoming one and historians, scholars, and scientist are predicting that in the near future the whole world would become one large village. Even though there are some countries that are not civilized, in the future civilization would spread to every nation and every country and the world would become one in terms of values, culture, beliefs, and technology.

In conclusion, America is part of western civilization and not a separate from it. There civilization has cause the growth of its economy and has influenced their culture and contributed to what America is today. The western countries area product of civilization and modernization and since they were the first countries to be influenced, they will continue to dominate the economy of the world. From the western countries, civilization would continue to be spread to other nations of the world so that all nations could advance in technology.
