Essay

The history of the Nutritional Foods, Inc have carried the reputation in the health-food market for more than  a decade and has successfully acquired mergers and acquisition (M &A) with other heterogeneous subsidiaries to the local markets at the Central Valley and City Center  area where the distribution centers are based in processing fruits and vegetables. The company has filed a lawsuit to one of their subsidiaries in which the alleged company has breached the violation of infringement property and labeling. (Hanson.K,1998) . If I were James, I would have an open-end communication with ad hoc crisis team managers and require managers to bring their supporting facts of why they disagreed on implementating on team-based organization on what type of strategies on resolving crisis issues that have imposed against the Nutritional Foods, Inc. The decisions should be discussed on who will be the oversight committee for this nature of the food poisoning problem. James replied, ‘We have done our best to solve these matters with the public relations, stakeholders, and consumers whom had this food poisoning experience, and not only that we have done enough but we need to do more investigation with the two processing facilities on three divisions (picking, packing, and processing) as we may have overlooked the labeling batch numbers for each product being distributed from the West. The stakeholders are reluctant with the CEO’s handling this nutritional production loss at 20% of net earnings of its third quarter of the fiscal year. While, the revenues has plunged to $302 Million. The number showed a biggest loss for the week at $26.75 or $143 Million in which over 1, 256 consumers have pulled out their commodity shares from the company. The stakeholders wanted the CEO and the runner up vice president to be fired and replace a new CEO and Financial Officer to revamp the distribution processing system and forecast a 12-month plan to bring revenues to $200 Million(n.d.) With all of the empirical evidence in hand, a decision will be made based on evidence among sources and the measurement of success of team-based versus individual in charge. An emphasis on the need for the organization to develop a environmental audits of their operations (i.e. batch number, serial number, etc). As indicated in the Natural Environmental Perspective as this developing policy includes distribution’s accountability of the unpasteurized products. James continued explained, “the production operations is the heart of the all of the operations, including your paychecks, that we have to cut costs in order to increase capacity in production, eliminating the idle facilities, retrenching production processing system, and additional materials  such as upgrading the information technology system that detects the defectives in our fruit and vegetables production”  Of these aspects of production harvests the companies to minimize the fixed costs against the miscellaneous costs necessary for the company to earn back its stakeholders and consumers (Wild, et al., 2006).

Healy contended in the language of business ethics taboos in a sense to visualize the healthier method on the food processing. “ The strategy to change initiatives are necessary, because this organization wants the best for the business internally and externally,” said Healy. Corporation Code of Conduct and ethics policy are applicable to all employees and directors, including  ad hoc advisors has implemented a oversight committee program which defines the tasks of  intelligence analysis on picking, packing, and processing divisions (Prescott, J. et al. 1989). CEO can use sources accords to the quantitative and qualitative research gathered through surveys among corporations across the terrority and the nation and even globally to argue with managers to adapt change the attitude of the organization culture that was once popularized by our predecessors. This policy is subjected to all distribution centers, excluding the outsourcing distribution facility that has merged with this organization. The operations are also subject to federal, state, and local environmental laws (David, F., 2007). Managers get to participate to the assembly line and perform the task productivity, and join lunch with processing liners to hear out the pros and cons of the work procession, which may help managers to get the idea of how each employee act, behave, react, and think toward to the job duties. If managers see employees help one another on the processing line, which shows that they are working, together as team without knowing they are doing it.
