Introduction

The word education designates a kind of learning where by the particular elements that defines an individual character are modeled by inculcating new skills, knowledge, and behaviors, this done through training, research and teaching. The most important part in my life is my education. It has been along journey that started during the early days of my life. Though at the start of the process my parents initiated the whole idea of me going to school I never knew the importance of education at this those early years of life my life when I was about eight years old. During those days, I would go to school because my parents always ensured that I must go to school every morning. At the start every thing was a bit boring as my I was not used to the whole system. Later on, I came to like school especially after meeting new friends and adapting to the environment.

The how education has affected my life

Transition element

As seen in the beginning of this excerpt education transforms an individual from one state to another. Education changes one’s characters and behaviors and adopts new skills and knowledge. I have been an exception in this process, since even from the excerpt one can tell that Iam a transformed person. The transition element may not be the most interesting part of the story, as the events or activities involved in the education process.

Interaction

Education enables an individual to interact with many people from different parts within a state or even the whole world. I have interacted with many and made many friends from who learnt many things. These people shared with me some of the things they like and some that they do not like. The friends have played a great role in influencing some of the values that are deemed important in one’s life. The virtue of patient was introduced into my life when I met a friend way back in grade seven, I remember when it was about lunch breaks I would stand at the door of the class just to ensure that I am among the first people to get out of the class. I liked this trend until one day when people knocked me and I seriously got injured until I had to be rushed to the hospital. After recovery only one person become courageous, enough to share with me what happened and advised that in life everything needs patients.

Socialization

The other part of school life that that always jogs my memory is the life in the dormitory in high school. The dormitories were always packed with students who were very good story tellers and enjoyed the company of each other. I remember the stories that my friends used to tell these stories most of which were lies but also played the greater of socialization between us. The element of how to interact and socialize was introduced in me by those friends. Therefore, education ensures that an individual can cope and interact freely with other people in the society.

Education has also transformed me into a responsible citizen who is able take of the daily requirements of life. From the early days of high school life in the dormitory where I used to plan how to spend the little pocket money that used to get from the parents. It is through education that I have been able to resist drugs and substance abuse and this has enabled to live a very healthy life free of drugs. Sports and co-curricular activities at school have modeled me into a physically active individual with good health and vigor for life. Of all the games at school, soccer has remained to be my favorite game; I have participated in the game for quite a long period both at school at and at home. I also pay some attention to hockey since my best friend like that game and has won many a wards from the various tournaments.

Academic performance

The academic facet of education has remain of the most interesting parts, since I have been a very good performer in class work and at one time was almost the top of my class in science. I tend to prefer particular subjects especially in the field of science mathematics and languages. The grades in these subjects have been very stunning and in most cases have earned several rewards in for hard work in the subjects. Particular subjects such as science have not only improved my intellectual capacity but also enable to understand why certain happen the way they do. Education has transformed my views of the world, the environment and the people around me.

Awareness

It is through education that I have become an environmentally conscious person, I have learnt the importance of conserving the environment, the effects of such things as global warming and environmental valuation methods to determine the monetary value of monetary environmental impacts. The fascination of technology has made to like the learning process since technology has made learning to be much easier today than before. Gone are the days when one had to go the library to such for research materials from the library, today these materials are available online at the click of a button. It has improved on the pace of doing assignments and dissertation. The use of computers especially laptops has made it easy to access information over the internet and thus resulting to easy and affordable means of learning such as virtual learning. At the start of the education process I knew that I was going through the process just as a formality but education has enabled me to understand that the I need to pursue my career and be a responsible citizen within the state. Education has enabled to understand our political system, economic system and social issues that make the society complete.

Conclusion

Education is important for the life of an individual as it affects his or her life positively. Education expands the mind of an individual enabling him or her to understand the reasons why things happen in a particular way in the society. Education develops the intellectual capacity of individual and releases them from the fixed reasoning of their minds to the wide span reasoning of the world. Education determines the type of life that an individual would like to lead, the career they would like to pursue and the games or sport activities that they would like to participate in.
