At the Center for Excellence, we believe that are children are capable of learning the basic skills and understandings that are necessary for them to succeed in life. Reinforcing a positive attitude is an intrinsic value of the Center because we believe that children only need to believe in their abilities to achieve greatness. We promote a safe and fun learning environment that focuses on building relationships through teamwork. Children work and play together to achieve curriculum goals. Diversity is valued at the Center, as we believe that facilitating cultural appreciation will positively contribute to learning opportunities and create new understanding for our students. As an educational institution, we uphold the importance of the parent in helping establish a child’s love for learning. Therefore, parents act as partners in learning to help their children meet their personal and academic goals. Our core values and beliefs are implemented on a daily basis to ensure that our students are aware of the fundamental traits that are necessary for them to develop to become beneficial members of the community. As such, excellence is expected in all that our students do. At the Center for Excellence, there is no such thing as failure because even the smallest steps are necessary to contribute to the learning experience. Effort is the most valued trait at the Center because effort demonstrates an ability to achieve lifelong learning. Students at the will graduate with an understanding that respect for others and an ability to collaborate are necessary skills to ensure long-term success.
