The Democrat Party, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 280

Essay

The Democrat party, in my opinion is to blame for the government shutdown. This is because the Democrat majority in the House of Representatives passed the bill to put into effect the Obamacare plan. This plan resulted in the cessation of the borrowing and the costs incurred on debts. The Affordable Care Act put the health care law above the need to take care of the government deficit. This government deficit is what led to the shutting down of government. Furthermore, the democrat party insist on standing against any bills that may be passed to reinstate some of the government functions that are otherwise politically sensitive.

Voters will not forget November. This is because the democrat government had made a lot of promises that were pegged on the Obamacare plan, (The Affordable Healthcare Act). This, in the defence of the voters was not envisioned with the shutdown of government.

The partial federal government shutdown has deflated all my faith in the government, I do not believe the government has the capability to sustain the capacity for growth that was experienced in the last decade. This is because the effects of the partial federal government shutdown will, in my opinion take over two fiscal years to wear off. Expenditure and demand will go down and affect the government’s earnings through taxes.

The government will never gain my trust in the foreseeable future. The shutdown has meant the depreciation of the standard and value of life in the United States. This has and will make life more difficult with the unavoidable fact that my credit rating will significantly plummet. This will affect my and many American’s ability to borrow from financial institutions, influencing the mortgages.
