Climate change is an important issue, and is becoming more inundated in media, and in international relations. There are several agencies that are responsible the various factors in evaluating the causes and effects of climate change. The President sets the tone and the agenda of the other agencies and cabinets, which they subsequently execute. Federal bureaucracy is an essential part of the progression of society, which consists of tasks that are expected of the republic which include, national defense, maintenance of water, roads, garbage collection, and so on. America is constantly growing reaching over 300 million individuals that have increased federal bureaucracy, with the federal government being the central role of stabilization. The growing interest in climate change has elevated the issue to a global concern, and has pressured government agencies to act on initiatives to provide solutions. Due to major impact of climate change on society, many agencies and cabinets are involved in finding a resolution.

The Department of Agriculture that has a concern on the effects of food supplies that go out to countries around the world. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) which is charged in researching, and collecting data for weather patterns to give to other agencies. NASA that focuses on the effects of climate change in part of their overall mission to support global interests through information from space exploration. The Department of Defenses has begun to collect data on how it possibly impact military contingencies, and future missions in other countries. However, the agency that is tasked with formulating and executing policies on climate change is the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Environmental Protection Agency plays a significant role in investigation, implementing regulation and policies to minimize the problem. They try to find ways in which states can make changes that could reverse the effects and further repel the overall impact of climate change.
