The Diploma in Accounting Finance is a conversion course that paves way for students who have little knowledge in accounting. It is also an opening course for students who have no background knowledge of accounting as they may have undergraduate degrees in other areas such as arts, economics, business, engineering, science or law. For the students who already have knowledge of accounting, the course provides a platform for expanding their knowledge and interpretation in areas they are mostly interested. Students who undertake the diploma in accounting and finance get a direct path to studying Masters in Science and Accounting (MSc). Those who do not undertake the diploma are required to submit the GMAT test alongside their application to be considered illegible for MSc.

This program has experienced a high competition in the recent past prompting a number of regulations. During application, the students who consider the diploma in accounting and finance as their first choice are given the first priority during the selection. Thus, students who choose the course as their first course increase their chances of selection.
