Introduction

The environment that comprises of people from different aspects of life is known as the shared environment. The shared environment is very important during the study of crime since it gives evidence on the factors that leads to crime (Bartol, & Barto, 2008). It indicates to us as well as the researchers that the factors of the genetic that leads to criminal behavior results from the family, adoption and twin studies within the shared environment. The most restraint concerning the studies of the family is the incapability to split the genetic and the environmental sources of dissimilarity. On the sides of the twin’s studies, it has come out that any trait that is heritable can speed up the risk regarding the criminal behavior (Ozanian, 1994).

The observation has come out that within any shared environment, the monozygotic twin leads in crime and followed by the dizygotic twins. In all the studies that have taken place, the criteria for variability in the criminal behavior and the composition samples do not come into view on any way to change the effect of genetic (Bartol, & Barto, 2008). This indicates that the criminal behavior and the inconsiderate behavior correspondence may be mediated through a gene method.

Adoption is also part of the environmental effect that leads to the crime. This is true because the natural experiment has been done and proved by the adoption studies. This results when the adoptee have been alienated from their biological parents that leads to the genetic influence. But the engagement that comes among the parents who adopt and the adoptee results in the environmental manipulation. Furthermore, the design of the adoption gives permit for the judgment relations among the environmental and the genetic influences (Bartol, & Barto, 2008).
