The case in this scenario which involves a thirteen year old boy, John Black who was found guilty for being in possession of a fire arm within the school, for the reasons that he wanted to defend himself against the his fellow students who picked on him. This is a juvenile case that my juvenile probation office will handle with a lot of care to ensure that my client is restored into a good and responsible person.

Through out the five years John will undergo proper psychological guidance and counseling, he will involve in community work to ensure that he can transform into a completely new person. Our counseling program will entail teaching John on issues such as how to relate well with his fellow students, how to well with people both old and younger than him. The program will also ensure that John is well versed with issues that pertain to low and their various consequences. My probation office will ensure that the measures taken to transform John are more of corrective measures than punitive measures as the punitive measures may make the John to be more discriminative towards his victims.

My juvenile program will entail John interacting and socializing with law abiding citizens who will be to teach him on such issues such as social relations. He will also have the opportunity to interact with people from the religious arena who will able to discuss with him on issues that relate to moral practices and behaviors.

Through the community involvement program, John will be able to participate in various community activities, for instance there is a community base organization that is aimed ensuring environmental conservation, and John will be asked to participate in the program and will undertake the duties that are tailored for people of his age. There is a community based organization in the locality where my office is situated that provides assistance to the elderly within the community, in this regard John will be involved in visiting and helping the elderly in handling activities such minor repairs and handling garden work for them. He would be encouraged to sit and share with the elderly by sharing stories and experiences. John will also be recruited to the local civic organization that partake such duties enhancing participation of the citizens in activities such as census program and voter drive campaign. John will be encouraged to join local Rotary club where he will be to participate in the renovation and painting of public structures such as hospitals and schools. The Rotary program will provide avenues for him to participate in farming activities such as plantation of food crops mainly vegetables and flowers.

After the five years, there will be appraisal program to ensure that there is a substantial change in John and to ensure that he is able to relate well with the with people in the community both at home and at school. My juvenile office is to ensure that the John is given a corrective approach towards transformation rather than a punitive approach.

My probation program will also ensure continuous monitoring of John to asses behavior and characters and more importantly to determine the level of change. The program has the beneficial benefits of changing the person and even his victims since John will be able to interact freely with the victims and thus a positive change in attitude between the two parties.
