The painting of the Last Supper was painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th century. It represented the Last Supper that Jesus had with his disciples where Jesus announced that one of his disciples would betray him. The Painting measured 15′ x 29′ and was mounted in the monastery of Santa Maria del Grazie in Milan, Italy. The painting reflects the different reactions of the apostles on the news that one of them would betray him. The looks depicted anger, dismay, shock, cause or reason. The painting has a number of references to number three, which is said to represent belief of the holy Trinity. The original painting was made on a drywall, as opposed to wet plaster and as such it is not a true fresco. To In order to seal the stone Da Vinci used layers of pitch, gesso and mastic. It was because of this method that it rapidly deteriorated, however copies survived based on the original detail of the artist. In 1556 less than 60 years after it was painted. It was already somewhat ruined. The first real restoration took place in 1726. Major restorations took place in the 1970s, and it took 21 years before the painting was put back on public display. Leonardo experimented with a new style called Tempera here are [egg, yolk and vinegar ], plus oil paint on a dry plaster. Although offering the use of more colour. The Creation of Adam by Michelangelo
The creation of Adam or creation of Man was a masterpiece created by Michelangelo. It is composed as a unit with two panels – An Eden panel with Adam laying on a hilltop reaching out to his Creator. The creator is seen as a mighty wind, and force driving everything before it. The one of Adam is a feeble one is begging for help whereas the creator is that of a positive directive force offering the care of a father to son. The painting is cantered on a collection of curves that depict both serenity and the background representative of that of the human brain. Adam portrays a picture of innocence in the face of the divine. Michelangelo manages to paint in great detail and depth of beauty. The painting originated about 5010.
