Essay

The learning and growth of a company becomes most effective if a strong and solid is laid by the management. To develop objectives in this area, several measures should be considered as stated by Niven (2010) and these include informational capital, human capital and organizational capital. Informational capital is known to act as a raw material that aids in transforming data to information. It also ascertains the firm’s ability to provide the requirements for strategy implementation. Human capital on the other hand, is the most valuable asset a company could have at any given moment. Lastly, organizational capital is seen as a representation of the hearts and minds of people in an organization. It also ensures success by tracking people’s ability to grow and evolve.

The three objectives set to improve the organization’s learning and growth are:

  • To create efficiencies in the supply chain.
  • Training of employees and encouraging better workplace behaviours.
  • Improving customer’s lives in the entire world.

Vision: to gain global recognition as the producer and provider of the best consumer products and services. The objectives are directed towards growth and development which would help in providing the better and best products and services.

Mission: to continue to serve consumers by continuously innovating products that will allow us to be leaders in household and personal care, health care, and food products. These objectives contribute this mission by its innovation aspects.

Strategy: to grow by touching and improving the lives of more consumers in more parts of the world. One of the objectives directly fulfils this strategy. (Proctor and Gamble 2010)
