The Scope Verification Process and Quality Control, Research Paper Example

Pages: 1

Words: 271

Research Paper

What are the differences between the scope verification process and quality control? Within the project planning process, which comes first? Is it possible that the processes may be executed at the same time? Why?

Scope verification process basically attends to the consideration over how particular elements of operation in the project are to be given attention to. Relatively, this outlines what needs to be completed in the project. It sets the foundation of what needs to be done to accomplish the primary goal of a specific project. On the other hand, quality control is performed at the end-part of the project. It basically proposes a distinct indication of how the project procedures taken into account were able to determine the development desired by the organization or the clients for whom the project is being completed. These two procedures cannot be executed at the same time as scope verification process is executed at the beginning of the project management operations to verify operational conditions while quality control is executed at the end of the operation to ensure proper results gained from the completion of the project. Practically, the planning comes beforehand, while the assurance of quality comes after the project is completed. With this being said, once the scope of procedures engaged with in the project becomes clear enough to be executed, the project completion proceeds. Before the project is pronounced as completed, the quality control is undergone hence making sure that the management of procedures is in par with what is being expected from the outcome.
