Education policies are created to help administrators of schools to become more efficient in the way they handle their responsibilities towards the students they are supposed to assist. Understandably, it could be realized that a better essence of understanding the relative role of education in establishing individual competency and efficient social performance at the same time. In the book The State of Education Policy Research by David Cohen and his colleagues, a definite discussion on the definition and determination of the real value of education policies are given specific attention to.

Remarkably, the second chapter of the said reading concentrates on how Lorraine McDonnel points out the impact of politics and its culture in the process of providing education to the public. In this section of the reading, McDonnel points out that there has been a few researches or studies continued in relation to the emancipation of how politics directly affect education and the process by which it is imposed  for the public’s benefit (19). Herein, it has been further insisted that the function of education to provide necessary information to the public is often affected by the politics that confirms the condition by which such system is supposed to occur or handled for the society’s general sake.

The fourth chapter on the other hand discusses about the application of Policy and Practice in education, whereas it is indicated that the government does a lot to make sure that proper education is given to each individual in the community. Considerably, such matter is observed to have a great impact on how effective education is processed and presented for the public’s benefit (64). It is also mentioned herein that monetary funding and educational progress may have a relative connection, however, it could also be noted that there are instances when such relationship is practically being used as an escape for providing extensive forms of development for the educational progress that every educational institution is expected to embrace (65).

True to its sense, both chapters two and four have a distinct rooted direction on the emergence of political issues and how they are likely affecting the overall condition of the development that is evidently affecting the flow of educational progress that needs to be imposed in the society. Looking through these elements of effect, it is assumed that creating better portals of educational presentation could be further embraced accordingly.
