I am considering purchasing the sports fishing boat ‘ Stingray 195 FX’.  As the boat manufacturer I wondered if you could answer four important questions that will assist me in my purchase decision.

1. The Pricing Options on the Boat :  I wondered what potential finance and discount schemes might be available at the time of purchase ?  I have also been advised by a friend that you exhibit the boat annually at the local boat show.  I am given to understand that by purchasing the boat at the show considerable saving may be made on the normal retail selling price.  If this is the case when will the next show be held ?  at what location ? and would it be possible to get an advance reservation with an option to purchase at the boat show price ?  I am also attracted by the many current 0% interest financial purchase options and would be grateful for any additional information or contacts that you have in this area. There is also the option of purchasing from one of your authorised agents and this might have ‘trade in’ options for existing boat owners.  Please provide details of my nearest authorized agent for the Stingray boat line.
2. The Engine Specification / Power options: The engine has the following general specifications in the supported literature: (Stingrayboats.com, 2010)

• Power trim tilt w/indicator
• Remote oil Change
• Easy access fuel pump and filter service
• Easy access water pump service
• Full up drive trim
• Cone clutch shifting technology
• Drive unit high water intakes
• High flow exhaust

Could you provide additional information on the inboard engine in terms of power, size and functionality.  In addition the optimum size of the supporting outboard trolling engine. I am assuming a 10 horse power engine would be perfect for a boat of this size?

3. Custom Sports Fishing Options: One of the things that attracted me to this boat is the flexibility to provide custom add-ons.  I would be interested in getting electronic down-riggers installed on the boat.  Would you be able to arrange both purchase and installation of these items.  I would like to specify the make and brand but would like your professional installation of same.  I would like to know if this is possible and part of the value-added service?  I may have a few additional items like electronic sea hose adaption too.
4. Future Boat Maintenance : Stingray are based in Hartsville, North Carolina. What provisions are made for boat owners based on the Western US Seaboard e.g. Seattle and area ?  Are there any arrangements that can be made with local dealerships for ongoing support and maintenance of the boat ?  It is noted that the hull comes with a standard 5 year warranty.  I am particularly concerned about the electrical work and engine maintenance.  I would be grateful for any additional information in this area.
