The UI Techniques, Essay Example

Pages: 1

Words: 327

Essay

Having expressed data, application, and front-end requirements, we have been asked by the Government to explain the front-end techniques we plan to use. We have met with our design team to discuss our options. Here, we explain the top three user interface (UI) techniques and fundamentals recommended for the terror suspect application and how they will be used to improve UI design quality.

Of consistent design layouts, standard design principles, UI navigation, control implementation, form development, message and labeling system, icon imaging, chromatics, field alignment, screening and groups, we recommend design standard principles, UI navigation and field alignment as the top three techniques to use during the UI design phase. Furthermore, of design fundamentals, we plan to implement structure and simplicity as those that will be most important in the initial design (Oppermann, 2001).

The fundamentals we plan to use will improve the quality of the UI design in a number of ways. Solid navigation will help users walk through the data without complication. Plus, designing with standards will help with long term improvement of the system, and aligning fields will make the UI easier to read (Freetutes.com, 2011). If anything needs to be modified in the future, it will help developers to continue in a logical manner. A simple, well-structured design is important for a user-friendly design (Ambler, 2010). It allows users to easily see and navigate the information presented on the interface.

Here, we explained the top three UI techniques and fundamentals recommended for the terror suspect application and how they will be used to improve UI design quality. We have met with our design team to discuss our options. Having expressed data, application, and front-end requirements, we explained to the Government how we plan to move forward with the project.
