The White House, Research Paper Example

Research Paper

Recently, the White House released a summary of findings positing that undergirded the framework for the touted Nuclear Deal, which concurrently was engaging in negotiations with Iran’s Islamic Republic called “parameters for a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action Regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Nuclear Program.” As such, analysis and assessment must engage and negotiate with the way that the interests of involved stakeholders were prioritized within this seminal deal. The chasm between ideology and culture impacted this very process of negotiation while also elucidating any and all alternative measures. Past experiences and relations that fomented between Iran and the United States impacted this very paradigm of negotiation therein. Manufacturing an atom and/or nuclear bomb mandates the inclusion of wither plutonium or uranium. However, this paradigm-shifting deal with Iran enabled Iran to pursue four separate potential paths to leverage any and all fissile materials that could. Within the context of Iran, two critical ingredients that undergirded the uranium bomb as there was ample uranium present which created ample material for experts to create a bomb made out of uranium via the deployed of over ten thousand centrifuges.

Iran currently retains a herculean stockpile of uranium in vast enough quantities to created up to ten nuclear bombs.  The nuclear deal, however, has resulted in the reduction of the uranium stockpile by approximately 98% while also maintaining uranium levels at an estimated 3.67 %, which is far lower than the so-called “enrichment level” necessary  to create a deadly, nuclear bomb. In addition, Iran is wonting of hundreds and thousands of centrifuges in order to enhance the supply of a profoundly amplified uranium supply geared towards creating a nuclear bomb that would be devastating at the macro level. Currently, Iran retains an estimated twenty thousand centrifuges within their Fordow and Natanz facilities in which uranium is being enriched. It must be noted, however, that under the stipulations laid out in this political partnership, that the number of centrifuges needs to be vastly reduced within the next decade.

Despite the positive rhetoric, the underbelly of the Iran deal must be taken into consideration, as the deal has emerged as a manifestation of appeasement and rapprochement with Iran in addition to complicit support by the Iranians’ counterpart. Without the enforcement that is latent in this deal, results within the realm of nuclear welfare could be catastrophic. Within contemporary times, Iran still holds fast the a  herculean stockpile of volatile uranium in addition to over twenty thousand centrifuges in order to create over eight nuclear bombs. Had Iran opted to hastily create a nuclear bomb in a particular locale, it would take an estimated two to three months until Iran could procure an ample supply of uranium that may have been also highly enriched uranium. These efforts rendered it possible for the creation of nuclear weapons to come into existence. Ultimately, the Iran deal structurally gets rid castaways vital in the creation of the atom bomb. Iran cannot procure any novel and/or innovative sanctions needed until the IAEA substantiates  that the oppressive Iran has complied with its end of the negotiation and deal.

This Iran deal remains a highly contentious issue within American discourse today because on the surface it appears that the Americans have been ironically supporting burgeoning terrorist networks via trade in the region. This compact is hotly debated in political circles into the present day because of how political motivation and the desire for rapprochement undergirded such public policy.
