Essay

There are three most common accessories that I use every day. One is that of an eyeglass, another is a watch and lastly is the ring that has been handed over to me by my grandfather before he died. These accessories have become a part of my life already. It is as if I cannot go through a day without them. Obviously, the first two accessories I use, I have them for particular needs and necessities. I use my watch to tell the time and my eyeglass is a suggested accessory that I need to have and use for the sake of correcting an eye problem. On the other hand, my ring takes a different reason for utilization. Out of my appreciation for the relationship that I have shared with my grandfather when he was still alive, the ring he gave me carries a sentimental value that I consider to be highly important.

Obviously, accessories for me should be used out of necessity. However, in the case of the current situation that the said industry is engaged with, accessories become a source of personal satisfaction of those who use them. These items are primarily made to improve the physical appearance of a person. Matters such as sentimental value and function of the products released by the industry are only secondary reasons for the creation and distribution of accessories. As for a fact, the endorsement of these items in the market is considered to be at its highest cost as the industry pays as much so as to gain as they expect from the products they release.

The manner by which the market responds is seemingly beneficial for the said businesses engaged in the industry. Relatively, this is the reason why the accessories industry remains at its highest peak not only affecting women buyers but also that of the men. Personally, I am among the few who only uses the said items out of necessity. I personally do not support other reasons that define such products as the source of physical adornment.
