Clinical Assessment through Simulation
Simulation is the process of adapting to the actuality of the situation. It could be understood that in terms of assessment of clinical practices, simulation takes place to assess whether or not the medical practitioners [in this in this case the nurses] are able to give attention to the determinable course on the process of operation they are supposed to attend to especially in dealing with the most complicated issues in the field of determining patient-care improvement.
Relatively, work-related assessments and evaluation tools use simulation procedure to see whether or not the employees are following protocol procedures when dealing with regular responsibilities as well as when dealing with critical situations. Notably, it could be observed that in the field of medicine (Tanner, 2006, 45), the critical value of work would largely depend on how the life and assumption of one’s safety is given attention to by the practitioners who are supposed to give ample support to patient-needs.
What makes simulations effective as tools for evaluation and assessment of performance is that of the fact that the workers undergoing the said course of development are expected to take on a definite stand as to how they are to face difficult tasks during the actual duties that they are supposed to complete (Wotton, et al, 2010, 49). These difficult tasks [completed through simulation operations] are expected to increase the competence of each individual especially in becoming more effective in determining the role that s they are supposed to take note of, especially in relation to developing excellent patient-care practices (Levett-Jones, et al, 2010, 11). In this manner, not only are the patients being taken good care of, they are also given the chance to recover faster in the hands of medical assistants who are willing to give attention to how each individual who is under recovery to gain a more distinct course of development that would basically improve their health status.
