Thomas Moore, Essay Example

Words: 401

Essay

Thomas Moore is the author of the book Soul Mates. In his book, he writes about how a person can meet his or her soul mate or how one can make his or her soul mate. Mr. Moore has explained the reason why many people in this world end up divorced or split when their relationships are not on the right track. He has helped me to understand that soul mates are those people that you can sit with the whole day not uttering a single word but at the end of the day you will feel like you had the best conversation in your whole life. Soul mates are the type of people that connect on a spiritual level and stay together for a very long time without having a heated argument because they know what is good for each other even without asking.

Thomas inspires me because in his book, he writes that when you meet your soul mate, the eyes are the windows to the soul and one would know just by looking at the eyes and the emotions are one of the many indicators. Moore has helped me to understand how love and life can be made simpler by living with my soul mate. There is someone out there for each and every one of us but the best thing to do while searching for a soul mate is to make one. Thomas suggests that the best way to make a soul mate is by focusing on the laws of attraction. Here, a person should attract the kind of spouse one wants and by focusing one’s all positive energy on this person, he or she will be attracted to you. Mr. Moore also suggests that if a person wants to attract a soul mate, the best thing to do is to be grateful for being who you are and what you have. If you love yourself and treat yourself very good then another person will love you and treat you how you want to be treated. Thomas Moore is one of the greatest writers in history that I admire and would love to follow in his footsteps. He has written many motivational and inspirational books that help me in my day to day life while dealing with my relationships with other people and also that inner sense of unshakable sweetness that has made me who I am today.
