The communication plan acts as an important element in the efficient and accurate implementation of the project.

Inputs of an effective communication plan should incorporate the conveyance of the intentions of the parties involved as well as seek feedback on the implementation of the project. The plan must include the perspective sought and aim to build a rapport with the stakeholders and obtain their perspectives on the project. An acceptable plan must include all the information relayed and seek to attain a high credibility among the stakeholders. The commitment placed on the communication plan portrays the level of achievement anticipated from the plan. Commitment ensures that the plan is achievable and consistent with the projections communicated to the stakeholders, therefore, improving the credibility of the project.
