The Sarasota School of Architecture: what organizing/ geometric/design principles were implemented in examples of this architecture and interior design style

Following the architectural trend that characterized the era between the years 1941 to the mid-1960s, the Sarasota School of Architecture is one aspect of design that celebrates the oneness of architecture with nature; one that connects modernity with the traditional ways of living that humans are noted for to be more relatively used to. To note, the primary characteristics of this school of architecture includes the recognition of the need to make structures more connected to the forces of nature; thus strengthening their capacity to last and imposing a more functional form to which they allow nature to take its place in making such areas of living or recreation more definitely connected to human elements that are essential for satisfactory living.

Among the concerns of this school include particular characteristics namely floating staircases and large glass doors and glass walls. The utilization of jalousie windows is also a part of this architectural feat in the past years. Respecting the forces of climate and terrain in determining the functionality and the value of the structure being created, the Sarasota School of Architecture does provide a more definite course of indication on how environmental factors ought to be considered in architectural formations. Noticeably, in this day and age, the application of the principles followed under the Sarasota School of Architecture could help well in building eco-structures that are sound enough for living and are sustainable enough to make sure that natural resources are not set aside in determining their function in making human living more satisfying in its best form.
