Compare and contrast one way and two way communication. 

Two-way communication is the act of one on one selling, traditionally a face to face interaction between a buyer and seller. Now with technology this can be done through telecommute means, such as Skype, or even by phone, or in an e-mail. This form of selling is believed to increase the customer’s likelihood to make a purchase. Salesmen and women have traditionally been credited for their skill at closing deals, or making sales. The is a sweet science to this form of selling, as body language and interpersonal relations play a major part in this communication. Advances in telecommunications, however, personal selling takes place over the telephone, through video teleconferencing and interactive computer links between buyers and sellers.

Where technology attempts to partially take the sellers out of the equation, one-way communication completely removes the seller with fully automated sales forces. It involves automated selling to customers. For example a paypal tab placed on a blog is a form of one way selling because the customer decides on their own, or from ad copy you provide ahead of time. This cuts down costs from having to over employ staff. This also increases efficiency of sales.
